  1. First, let me apologize for my post not being on Greek.

    I do agree that antennas near a school is not the best for our children. Even if many studies about the dangers on telephony antennas contradit each other. Is better to be safe.

    But at the same time there are many contradictions in this area. The first one is that we do use mobile phones. It's quite common to have more than one. If no one uses a mobile phone, no antennas would be needed.

    Do not forget that mobile phones also emit radio signals. So literally you have your own antenna in your hands when you speak.

    In the same way: more antennas using less power give you better service and less risks. Instead of having 2 or 3 antennas working hard to give service to thousands of customers. A set of 20 or 30 small antennas can give better service using much less emissions.

    But there are more proven causes for cancer. First I'd like to note is: smoking. If you smoke:
    1. You're killing people that breaths near you.
    2. You're giving a bad example for our children.
    3. You're killing yourself (but you can do what you want with your life )

    Second is pollution. Kifisias Av, Katexaki. These streets surround our neighborhood. They are full of cars and 90% of the cases the driver is alone. Our children breath that air, and we do too. But we seem to ignore that problem.

    When we use the car most of the time:
    1. We're polluting our neighborhood and killing our children and our neighbors.
    2. We're giving a bad example to our children. They will do the same in the future.

    As a final note. For me the perfect short term future would be.
    * Smoke free neighborhood.
    * Car free neighborhood. Where our children can walk and breath without any danger.
    * Improvements in public transportation. (As an alternative for cars when commuting).
    * Low emission wireless services.

    And the last thing. Enjoy these pictures :)
